In order to register to use this website as a tenant creating a myrentalcv, as a property professional or as an employer, we will require you to supply personal informationand consent to a credit check being carried out on you. In addition, if you are a guarantor for a tenant using our services, we will also require you to supply personal information and consent to a credit check being carried out on you. However, if a prospective landlord requires an additional credit search to be carried out (for example, because a long time has passed since we carried out a credit search for your myrentalcv), we will obtain your explicit consent before doing so. In such circumstances, we will also require that, and obtain your explicit consent for, the credit check to be recorded as having been carried out in your name and not the landlord’s.

You provide us with information by filling in our forms, or by contacting us by telephone or e-mail. This information may include your name, address, email address, telephone number and other information you choose to provide (for example a profile picture, or personal (identification) documents).

The new GDPR law gives you the right to access the personal information that we store. We are also required to send the data in machine or human readable format upon request. Furthermore, if we don’t need your personal details to perform your requested services, you have the “right to be forgotten”. This means that you can request us to delete your personal details.
